It is once again time to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association with Local 2819’s annual Fill the Boot campaign. Come help support this great cause and try to beat last year’s total.
Brothers and Sisters, once again our Local is proud to sponsor the MDA Summer Camp. Local 2819 will be providing all the campers and counselors with this year's camp t-shirt. Camp is scheduled from July 20th through July 25th at the Miracle Ranch in Port Orchard.
The Fire Fighter/VIP Day is July 23rd starting at noon. Please come and join the campers in fun day of food and games. Again this year there will be a camper/firefighter combat challenge.

The Planning Committee that starts the possible process of combining Bremerton Fire Department, Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue and South Kitsap Fire & Rescue has begun. Their first meeting was in November, and the next meeting scheduled will be at the Kitsap Readiness Center on January 15th at 4:00 pm. To find out more about the process and meeting dates, please go to the Kitsap RFA website and register. You will then receive the latest news via e-mail. The representatives on the Steering Committee for this process is President Mark Johnson and Vice President Rick O'Rourke. If you have any questions, please give either of them a call.
